The organizers cordially invite you to attend the 12th International Conference on Thin Films - ICTF 12 - to be held in Bratislava, Slovakia. The Conference will be the 12th in a series of triennial meetings devoted to the physics, technology and characterization of thin film systems. A satellite workshop on Thin Organic Films will be organized after the Conference.
The Conference programme will include invited and contributed talks on the most recent advances in the physics of thin film systems and poster sessions. Tutorial sessions dealing with topical issues will be held during the Conference. A commercial exhibition of scientific instruments and books will be organized.
The Conference will be held on the premises of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. Bratislava, Capital of Slovakia, is located between the river Danube and the Small Carpathians mountains. Bratislava is an administrative and scientific centre of Slovakia, the seat of five universities and Slovak Academy of Sciences. It is also a cultural centre with Opera house, concert halls, theaters and museums. The well preserved historical city centre offers a friendly atmosphere to Conference participants.
